Doh!

It's a lazy sunday afternoon. Just staying put at home and decided Homer will do fine for today's post. He was won at a carnival game last summer.
I was trying to find an appropriate place for him. He just can't stand on his own and no place to hang him. Then Homer got his hand stuck behind the bookshelf so I just let him be there. ;-)

I wanted to thank you for joining Fanpop and adding your amazing photo blog to the site! It's a really nice addition and I hope that more people will find your photos through it. I wanted to personally welcome you, but also encourage you to make sure that on top of adding your photo blogs to the Daily Photo Spot, to make sure you add them to their relevant country or city spots as well. Michael has already set a great example!

Fanpop is all about having people who are passionate about different interests help to find the best content on the web for each of those topics and finding community with others who share those passions. By adding your brilliant photos to their country or city spots, you help others who love that country or city to find them. Here are just a few examples:

London
France
San Francisco
Shanghai
India

And if you don't see your favorite country or city represented, then create a new spot for it! And make sure you add other links that you find useful for that local country. And invite others who share your passion for those places to join as well! Fanpop is all about community building and collaboration, so it's not meant to be done alone...just like all you Daily Photo bloggers coming together! And I'm sure you'll find other interesting content on there as well. Let others know who you are and join a few spots and add some of your favorite local websites! Be careful though...it can be addictive!

Looking forward to seeing you all there. And keep on shooting those magnificent photos around the world! :)

It would be odd indeed if Homer were actually LOOKING for a book to read, so being stuck with his back to the books seems rather apt!
