Since starting this blog, I'm always on the lookout for some strange details to photograph. Here's one, ´wat is it? another view of the 'spot'

Oh, since coming back from my one week break, I've had managed to revamp my blog. Finally, tried out the new blog features. They are really easy to follow.. :-) And the CDPB menu is so much neater and it was easy to install. Thanx to the CDPB forum.

winter blues...

My posting has been off lately cos i've been 'off' lately. Was having fever on this day and thus this post being a day late. Used to the winter but still 'cold' happens ansd it is usual for people here to get the seasonal flu, cough and colds.. Aachooo.....!

muddy snow..

In a line...

This is the path down from the train station. As you can see, there is a lot of walking space to the right. But the four people in front of me chose to walk on the left near the pole. The reason being it was wet and slippery.

Today, the temperature was above 0 C and the snow was melting away. Near my school in Helsinki, there were huge puddles of water everywhere. Not a pretty sight, wet mud.

the poles are jus next to a forest. this is the true finnish winter. lots of snow!!! beautiful...

the not so lone pole..

the pole is not alone. it comes with another. It is used for the badminton net. Defintely not for use in winter but for summer... ;-)

it was very cold today.. after weeks of above zero, it was really freezing today. I had to have my wooly cap and gloves on today. Not much snow, but temperatures are expected to be minus 17 tomorrow.

This was taken at 7pm. The outside temp is minus 11.5 C and the indoor one is 24.3 C.

ice ice...

I enjoyed the snow and the snow pictures too. But today it was above 0 and drizzing. It was hard to walk this path that I take to school everyday. It was like taking baby steps... well it was more like walking like a frail old lady.. slowly and steadily.

After taking this shot, my cam went back into the bag as I braced myself to pass this path. There was gravel but not enough.

The building you see here is an elementary school.
