The year of the Pig starts today..There was a Chinese New year celebration in Helsinki yesterday. People gathered together in Lasipalatsi to count down to the new year together with the Beijing live telecast. Photos in my Finland website.. taken about 5.45pm yesterday.

Sorry, this nothing to do with Vantaa... One of my silly slammers. It used to 'scream' but the sound has died.

Doh!

It's a lazy sunday afternoon. Just staying put at home and decided Homer will do fine for today's post. He was won at a carnival game last summer.

I was trying to find an appropriate place for him. He just can't stand on his own and no place to hang him. Then Homer got his hand stuck behind the bookshelf so I just let him be there. ;-)
