The past 3 shots including this were taken today at 2pm. Temp was about 12C. It is not common to see people in tees yet but she was probably warm from raking leaves.

spring crazy days (hullutpäivät)

Great bargins are here again in Stockmann. People waiting to enter the department store in Jumbo which opened at 8am. I was there like 5min to 8. Not so 'kiasu'. ;-) I was there to get some electronic stuff.

This event happens twice a year in all the Stockmann stores in Finland. The other crazy days sale's period is usually in october. The sales started today and lasts four days. The 4 day sales is such that they have different items on sale everyday and most of the special offer items are grabbed fast.

A small theatre in Tikkurila. I've been there a couple of times to watch plays for children. That was when i was working in a childcare. ;-) Not sure wat's on now..

Oh, since coming back from my one week break, I've had managed to revamp my blog. Finally, tried out the new blog features. They are really easy to follow.. :-) And the CDPB menu is so much neater and it was easy to install. Thanx to the CDPB forum.

the road not taken

I was on my way home and this scene stood before. I was wondering at how the snowy scene had changed just in a matter of days. The two paths also reminded me of Robert Frost's poem. Any ideas as to which path i took... ;-)

elections day on the 18th march. last round of campaigning going on. here's an ad on the bus.

ad on bin. in singapore, we do not have campaigning ads on buses and bins. wonder wat it is like in other places?

prison break craze...

it's gd to be back posting.. here's the finnish version of prison break.. PAKO means Escape. first season dvd collection. first season ended it's run here in finland last month. not sure when the scecond season is due in finland. instructions for the prison break crane/duck is available here
